- Andrew began his racing career at age 4 competing in WKA (World Karting Association) events at Richard Shelton Speedway in the Kid Kart and Jr. Champ Kart divisions.

- The young Shelton, Connecticut driver raced Quarter Midgets for 6 seasons, racing both locally and nationally, he earned championships in both QMA and the USAC National Championships. Andrew’s Quarter Midget career featured several incredible highlights, including; 2 victories and 4 podiums at the 2013 Georgia QMA Grands, Indy USAC National Mod victory at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Strip West Coast National and Ohio Grands Fast Time & New Track Record.

- He competed in Go Karts with the Stafford Springs Tiger Club and Tiger Sprints, earned victories in both extremely competitive classes.

- The ABLE Motorsports team entered Andrew into the INEX Bandolero division, competing in races at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl (CT), Bethel Speedway (NY), Concord Speedway (NC) and Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC). Andrew picked up victories at both the New London-Waterford Speedbowl and at the Concord Speedway

- Andrew moved up to the premier INEX Legends division, competing in races at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl (CT), Bethel Speedway (NY), Seekonk Speedway (MA), Concord Speedway (NC), Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) and Riverhead Raceway (NY). The young Shelton, Connecticut driver secured numerous INEX Young Lion victories, as well as picking up an overall INEX win. Andrew finished Top 10 in the National Championship INEX Legends standings. Andrew finished the 2016 season just 1 point away from earning the New London-Waterford Speedbowl INEX Legends track championship.

​- In 2014 Andrew began testing with both a late model and a full size Modified. After several test sessions and practices he made his first few starts in an SK Light and from that point on modified racing became his passion. Over the last 2 seasons Andrew has earned 10 victories, including winning the prestigious Bubby Brouwer Memorial 49 race at Waterford. Andrew also made several tour type starts and in 2018 Andrew made his NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour debut at the Fall Final at Stafford Speedway.
